I was probably 16, when a few friends and I decided one day to camp out in the local woods. So we all got together and made a nice little camp site. We built our own shelter using sticks and ferns, then we found some rocks and made our fire pit. We retrieved all our sleeping bags from our homes and return back to the site, welcoming the site of nightfall. As soon as it got dark we lit a fire. It was a beautiful night, there wasn't a cloud to be seen and the stars were a terrific sight.
We spent most of the night cracking jokes at each other and talking about our teenage lives. At around midnight, we all heard what sounded like wind. The sound was odd, it seemed to get louder as if it were approaching us, and we soon found out it was. Suddenly about four large pine trees started to sway viciously, all of us jumped to our feet, we thought it was strange that only the four trees were moving like they were being blown by 80 mile an hour winds, the trees around this section weren't moving at all, we looked at each other, honestly we all felt something was wrong. I remember feeling my heart drop when this wind circled us, everyone was feeling fear. Again just like the pine trees only small section of the woods were effected by the wind. We all looked into the sky, actually hoping that there was helicopter circling us, but we didn't see anything, just the CLEAR STAR COVERED SKY.
We personally could not feel the wind, but there was something there. This strange wind circle us about six times, then suddenly nothing, it was gone. We all asked each other if any of us saw or knew what it was, nobody knew anything. We all agreed to leave. We hurried and put the fire out, got our stuff and ran. We ended up sleeping in a friends yard the rest of the night, next to the house. I still remember the fear I had that night, it was a kind of fear I had never felt before, and to this day haven't felt anything like it...I believe there was some sort of UFO circling us. I tried to dismiss it as a freak wind devil, but the more I think about it, and the more I talk to my friends that were there to experience it, We all agree that what ever this thing was, it wasn't natural.....
